Essential Reiki Teaching Manual Diane Stein

One of the first things you notice is the pages are divided into two columns instead of just one. That's nice - it makes for easier reading.

Having trained thousands of healers and Reiki teachers, the author is ideally placed to impart her knowledge and wisdom. The manual enables you to take your Reiki to the next level - teaching this wonderful healing system to others.

Diane provides practical guidance on how to run Reiki courses and workshops, from start to finish. She is very generous in sharing her tried and tested teaching methodology. To be a successful Reiki Teacher, there are many things you must do and, equally important, things you should avoid.

The pages are loaded with first class tips and methods.

Hence, this book is very likely to become your Teaching Companion as it will save you a lot of time and energy. Even if you end up using just a few of the techniques and ideas, you'll be a better teacher. Teaching satisfaction in turn means your students will also benefit, naturally.

If you are still hesitating about planning or teaching your first Reiki class, using Diane's methods will quickly get you over that hurdle.

Here's what the book covers:

  • Teaching Reiki
  • Preparing Yourself To Be a Reiki Healer
  • Preparing Yourself To Teach Reiki
  • Preparing The Reiki Teaching Space
  • Passing Attunements
  • Teaching Reiki I
  • Teaching Reiki II
  • Teaching Reiki III
  • Taking Care of Yourself As a Teacher and Healer
  • Workshop Handouts (Reiki I, II, III)

Illustrations:

  • Workshop Announcement
  • To Pass Attunements
  • Locating The Stillpoint
  • Reiki II Symbols and How to Draw Them
  • The Dai-Ko-Myo
  • The Raku
  • Sample Reiki Certificate

Some of the additional points this reviewer liked:

  • Traditional Reiki Secrecy -v- Modern dilution of Reiki (the advent of the Internet, etc.); things you - and your students - should know
  • Innovative teaching schedule that works
  • The legal aspects
  • What is required (the practicalities, finding students, advertisements and announcements, teaching space, providing essentials, etc.)
  • Empowering your students - the key to their success (and therefore yours too)

To sum up this book in one sentence, I couldn't do better than to borrow from the aptly named title: "Essential Reiki Teaching Manual" is essential reading if you wish to teach Reiki.

Note: Diane Stein doesn't provide attunements via books or DVDs; only in person.
