Q: Who can apply for an ETA Award ?
A: Apply if you manage an educational site, or a commercial site with a very high educational value.
Q: How are winners selected ?
A: The winners are selected by our Editors on the basis of some or many of the following: aims and objectives, content, educational value, design value, easy to navigate, loading time, effectiveness of site, etc.
Q: How long does it normally take before we are notified whether we have won an ETA Award ?
A: The sites are evaluated by humans ! Please allow between 6 to 10 weeks for your site to be evaluated. If you win, you will be notified by email.
Q: After we have won, how long does it take to hotlink our site to the ETA Winners/Hotlinks Section ?
A: As soon as possible with human speed ! Thanks in advance for your kind understanding.
Q: What if we do not hear from you after 10 to 12 weeks ?
A: (i) Sorry ! There is currently a backlog in evaluating sites. (ii) Sorry ! It may that you have not been selected by the Editors. The ETA Award cannot be given to all sites. This does not mean that we don't like your site or that it fails to conform to all or any of the points mentioned above - it simply means that at the time of evaluation, the Editors have decided not to give the Award. If you believe that your site has something very special to offer, please re-apply.

Q: What do we do once we have won ?
A: Be proud ! You may use the Award on your site, hotlinked to the ETA. You may also wish to include the Award in your other publications.
